Training Government Teachers to be Educators in Tele-Education Program

A one-day training was arranged at RMSA Office in Guwahati on 07/Feb/2019 for about 60 Teachers from across the State, on how to be Educators in Tele-Education program.

Educators are online teachers, who support in doubt clarification during Tele-Education LIVE sessions. Since all 250 classrooms will be connected during a LIVE session, studio teacher alone cannot respond to parallel questions from Tele-Classrooms. This is why, Educators will be assigned at Block Resource Centres to take up questions from students and answer just as the studio expert would.

These teachers will be given same resources as the studio expert. So, Government Teachers who are selected as Educators need to be trained for the LIVE delivery as well in the Educator processes.

Experts from Gumbi Software Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru which is the Implementation Agency for Tele-Education in Assam, conducted the training at RMSA office. Sri. Alakesh Baruah, State Programmer, RMSA, Assam also was present throughout the sessions and motivated teachers to give their pro-active participation in the all processes of Tele-Education.
