Career Counselling | Episode 10: How to Prepare for Nursing Courses

As part of the Tele-Education virtual classroom initiative, a career guidance session titled “Career Counselling | Episode 10: How to Prepare for Nursing Courses” was conducted to support students in understanding the academic and professional pathways related to nursing education.

The session featured Ms. Rimpi Das, a student of the Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati, who shared her academic experiences and preparation strategies for gaining admission into a nursing programme. Her interaction provided students with a structured overview of the requirements and expectations associated with nursing courses.

The discussion emphasized the significance of focused academic preparation, effective time management, discipline, and mental preparedness for nursing entrance examinations. Ms. Rimpi Das outlined key subject areas, recommended study approaches, and highlighted the importance of consistency and perseverance throughout the preparation process.

Students were encouraged to consider nursing as a structured and service-oriented profession that demands commitment, responsibility, and continuous learning. The session also underlined the value of guidance from educators and mentors in making informed career decisions.
