On 06/02/2025, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Honorable Education Minister of Assam, along with other state officials visited Narsing HS School and Tele-Education Studio Cachar, Silchar District, Assam in a bid to analyse the current education status at grassroot levels. The minister toured various classes, interacted with students and teacher.
During the inspection, the minister observed students actively participating in class delivered through live stream classes and interactive digital platforms. The virtual classroom, designed to connect students with teachers remotely, was praised for its role in providing continuous access to quality education, especially for those in rural or isolated areas highlighting the significant role of technology in overcoming barriers to education.
The visit also served as an opportunity to discuss future plans for expanding tele-education programs across the region, aiming to ensure every student has access to a modern and inclusive learning experience. It also acknowledged ongoing efforts at strengthening infrastructure, digital learning tools, and teacher training programs throughout the region.
