The Assam Tele Education initiative continues to bring new opportunities for students to learn, explore and grow. In August, a special scholarship test was conducted to celebrate the spirit of Indian Independence. The theme was Viksit Bharat 2047, which focuses on India shining through innovation and progress. Students were encouraged to explore India’s advancements in medicine, defence technology, infrastructure, space science and more. The idea behind this scholarship for the students to see the world beyond their textbooks and feel inspired by the developments shaping our country.
Symbolic Rewards with a Purpose
The rewards given to the scholarship achievers were carefully chosen to reflect values of sustainability, motivation and support.
The prize kit was packed in a jute bag purchased from the Jute Corporation of India. Jute is one of the most important crops of Assam and promoting its use is our way of supporting local farmers and encouraging eco- friendly choices.
Each prize kit contained:
- One reusable glass water bottle, an exam kit, a notebook and a memento. The glass bottle symbolised our message of saying no to plastic.
- The memento represented our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the students.
- The exam kit included a clip board, a geometry box, five pens and a scale. This was specially added to help students from financially weaker backgrounds.
- The notebook in your hand is one of our many efforts to inspire you through the examples of inspiring personalities. It shares their life stories and contributions to encourage you to believe in yourself and strive towards your own dreams.
These simple yet thoughtful gifts were a reminder that every student deserves encouragement and the right environment to grow.
